WordPress custom fields plugin template

A template plugin for adding custom fields on a specific post or page

Usage

Clone or download the repo
Open the custom-fields-template.php file in your preferred editor
Edit the header and variables as directed in the comments
Change the wordpress-custom-fields-plugin-template directory name to reflect the name of your plugin
Upload the directory to your WordPress installation under the wp-content/plugins folder
In the WordPress admin menu select Plugins -> Installed Plugins
Activate the plugin
Create a page with the permalink specified in the plugin
Save the page as a draft or publish to see the new custom fields form
Use the custom fields in your theme templates following the WordPress instructions
