Description

Simulate classical and quantum particles in a harmonic oscillator potential using Markov Chain Monte Carlo!

Usage

Compute expected energies at given temperatures:

make

Make plots:

python plot.py <output> <distribution>

Options for <output> are walkers, expected, exp_sq, and dist.

Options for <distribution> are classical, quantum, arbitrary and quantum2D (see descriptions in writeup and setup parameters in setup.cpp).
