To start your Phoenix server:
- Install dependencies with
mix deps.get - Create and migrate your database with
mix ecto.setup - Install Node.js dependencies with
npm installinside theassetsdirectory - Start Phoenix endpoint with
mix phx.server
Now you can visit localhost:4000 from your browser.

Development
This is a standard Phoenix app, so you can use all the usual mix commands.
You will have to set up your secrets in config/dev.secret.exs.
It may be useful to ignore local file changes for dev.secret.exs, as to avoid committing your secrets. This can be done with the command:
git update-index --assume-unchanged config/dev.secret.exs
