A repository for an assignment as part of Boston University's CS 781 (Advanced Health Informatics) for analyzing patient data encoded in FHIR.
Samples in this resporitory are completely fictional and any resemblence to a real patient is coincidental. We utilized a modified sample subset (n = 100) from MITRE's Synthea work. Use them at your risk and we provide no guarantee or warranty that they are accurate for fit for any use beyond this coursework!
The FHIR samples are stored as JSON and should be comformant to FHIR R4. They are located as in "/samples" folder as 1 file per patient using the Bundle resource.
Note that this isn't really "big data" but if you can do it programmatically for 100 patients, you're on your way to big data :)
Students are welcome to perform the assignment using any programming language they choose, however, some pointers/suggestions are provided in this repository using JavaScript since the FHIR samples are natively stored as JSON.
