For future reference : Using the following post, I was able to build for both 32bit-armv7 and 64bit-armv8, for both Ethereal and Xiphos.
I have not yet tried with any c++ engines, but since the tool in use is Clang, I suspect no issues.

- I'm getting out of the business of building others' engines.
- Laser has inline asm instead of intrinsics, so you would have to clean that up first.
