See: https://r-spatial.org/r/2022/04/12/evolution.html. sp on CRAN now offers control of the environment variable, so the attached log is from _SP_EVOLUTION_STATUS_=2 _R_CHECK_FORCE_SUGGESTS_=FALSE R CMD check spatialEco_1.3-7.tar.gz
:
00check.log
Even with retiring packages present, but running under _SP_EVOLUTION_STATUS_=2
errors occur:
00check.log
@jeffreyevans Thanks! From https://github.com/r-spatial/evolution/blob/main/pkgapi_by_pkg_220811.csv#L205, I can only see rgeos functions used in code, but pkgapi maybe misses some coercion methods. Which coercion methods are you using at prresent (from and to classes)?
I have this package updated however, am waiting on spatstat to make updates. They are splitting spatstat.core
into two packages, spatstat.explore
and spatstat.model
and are weeks overdue for pushing the changes to CRAN. Since they will then be archiving spatstat.core
there is no point in me submitting spatialEco
to CRAN before they make their changes. Thanks for the push, it motivated me to make changes that were quite overdue.
