ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS, FIGHT!
This repository is the frontend React/Redux application for Rock, Paper, Scissors, Fight! The backend repository for this project can be found here - https://github.com/jennyjean8675309/rps_backend.
ABOUT
Rock, Paper, Scissors, Fight! is a card-based twist on the classic game. Check out the 'How to Play' page for detailed information on how the game works.
User stats (highest scores, highest number of consecutive wins, and highest percentage of wins) are stored in the backend database for users who create an account. Authentication is done using JWTs (or JSON Web Tokens).
Most of the styling is done using Semantic UI React.
This project was bootstrapped with Create React App.
In the project directory, you can run:
Runs the app in the development mode.
Open http://localhost:3001 to view it in the browser.
Note: In order for this frontend application to connect correctly with the backend API, you must run this application on your local server at port 3001, and the backend Rails application at port 3000
