You can test your docker registry notifications like so.
Set an envvar SLACK_WEBHOOK_URL
to an appropriate slack webhook.
Run the following to push a local image to a local registry and see how the notification config performs.
make start
make image-push
make logs-all
If you want to see the UI, you can visit http://localhost, courtesy of the docker-registry-ui repository.
To test a sample notification in Slack, run the following:
