Sandbox for predictive analysis on the NTSB aviation
Jupyter notebook to illustrate the increase in safety over time for aviation related incidents. The trend is seasonal, tends to jump during the warmer months in the Northern Hemisphere (ie summer). This may be related to an increase in volume of general aviation air traffic. The data has not yet been normalized for only general aviation (TBD).
We are using Meta (Facebook) Prophet project on this data with no holiday/regressors included.
