StarStream is a command line tool that can record Twitch streams. StarStream can convert the recorded videos to MP4 files if ffmpeg is available and specified in the configuration.
Current feature goals include:
- List current streams
- Offer configuration so that streams are recorded automatically if a certain view count is reached
- Offer configuration so that streams are recorded if mentioned frequently on twitter
- Support automatic cloud storage of recorded data
- Automatically compress data
