Getting Started

To get a local copy up and running, follow these simple steps.

Prerequisites

Ensure you have the following installed:

  • Node.js
  • .NET Core SDK
  • PostgreSQL

Installation

  1. Clone the repo
    git clone https://github.com/jm7uz/JelaLingo.git
  2. Navigate to the backend directory and restore .NET dependencies
    cd JelaLingo/backend
    dotnet restore
  3. Create a PostgreSQL database and apply migrations
    dotnet ef database update

Usage

To start the platform, run the following commands:

  1. Start the frontend application
    npm start
  2. Start the backend service
    dotnet run

Now, navigate to http://localhost:3000 in your web browser to see JelaLingo in action!
