This Chrome extension automatically skips ads on YouTube by detecting the ad overlay and clicking the skip button.

Download the source code: Clone or download the source code from the GitHub repository.

Unzip the downloaded file (if you downloaded a zip file) to your desired location on your computer.

Install the extension in Chrome:
- Open Google Chrome.
- Go to the menu (three dots) in the top-right corner and select "More tools" > "Extensions".
- Enable "Developer mode" in the top-right corner of the Extensions page.
- Click on the "Load unpacked" button.
- Navigate to the folder where you unzipped the source code and select it.
- Click "Select folder" to load the extension.

Verify the installation:
- Once the extension is loaded, you should see its icon (or logo) in the Chrome toolbar.
- Automatic Ad Skipping: Whenever you visit a YouTube video with ads, the extension will automatically detect and skip the ads by clicking the skip button.
- Manual Ad Skipping: You can also manually skip ads by clicking the extension icon in the Chrome toolbar.
If the extension is not working as expected, try the following steps:
- Refresh the page: Sometimes, refreshing the YouTube page can resolve any issues.
- Check for updates: Make sure you have the latest version of the extension installed.
- Clear browser cache: Clearing your browser cache and cookies might help resolve any conflicts.
- Check for conflicts: Disable other extensions one by one to check if there is a conflict with any other extension.
