Finding values for the n gate

While trying to add functionality to save values to files, the value for the n gate could not be located. The MRG model never specifies this value, it's possible it doesn't exist.

The model contains an mp state variable, it is assumed that this is the n gate.

the n gate is actually not present in the simulation. please refer to the original work of McIntyre, Richardson, Grill
