A 2 hour introduction into the world of data.
Goal:
- Provide participants with an end-to-end view of the world of data in a hands-on workshop format.
Why:
- There are lots of talks about data, however nothing beats actually doing the work and seeing what it entails first hand.
Target audience:
- Anyone with an interest in data.
This workshop uses Jupyter Notebooks as the IDE as it is easy to set up and execute.
We recommend using a notebook service such as Google Colaboratory because:
- It is free
- Requires minimal set up
- Ensures all participants has the same environmnet set up regardless of Mac vs PC
