This project contains

Simple rule-based login and authentication system using custom middleware, gates and policies.
Seeders for DB data using factories.
Custom commands
Uses events and listeners.
Send mails, notifications, and then create jobs and process them in queues for time consuming tasks.
Scheduled tasks that run without any manual intervention.

Starting The Project

Make sure to have Docker installed, this laravel project utilizes Sail

Clone this project locally
cd into the project's directory
run sail up -d
generate an application key sail artisan key:generate
after setting up your local database, run the migrations sail artisan migrate
seed the database: sail artisan db:seed
update your etc/hosts file to include the entry 127.0.0.1 mygym.test if you want to visit the project locally using mygym.test
Mailpit is used for testing emails and can be found at port 8025
