PHP Docker

It's a very simple dockerfile to create and environment for work sugins PHP and Apache.

How to Use

Requirements

• Docker
• Docker Compose

Installation Steps (if applicable)

1. Install Docker and docker compose
2. Create a file with name .env in the root path of this project
3. Add the follow variables:

SERVER_DIRECTORY=
UID=
GID=
USER=

• SERVER_DIRECTORY is the absolute path of your project
• UID is your user id. You can discover this value usinng the command: id -u
• GID is your group id. You can discover dis value using the command : id -g
• USER is the username of your host.
• Example of .env file:

SERVER_DIRECTORY=/Users/carlos/PhpProjects/my-project
UID=501 // collected using id -u command
GID=20 // collected using id -g command
USER=carlos

4. Open a terminal.
5. Run the command docker-compose up
6. Run docker-compose up
7. Navigate to http://127.0.0.1
8. Create your PHP scripts and files in the same place of PATH_TO_YOUR_PROJECT value.
