This repository contains the software for the project TwitterConstituyente (Constitutional Twitter), which objective was to compare the results of the 2021 election of the Conventional Constitution of Chile with Twitter influence metrics of each of the candidates. This project is my thesis for the professional degree of Computer Science Engineer in Universidad de Chile.
The structure of the repository is the following:
- report: a draft pdf version of the thesis. Contains more details of the project motivation, objectives and research questions
- download: the code for downloading Twitter data using Twitter API and dumping it to MongoDB
- processing: all feature engineering required to convert the raw Twitter data into features that can be analysed.
- analysis: all analysis and plotting perfomed
