Scripts pertaining to the deployment of EDB Postgres Advanced Server and related software and tools containerized for deployment as Docker, Joyent Triton, Azure, etc.

Instructions for installing PPAS on Joyent Triton:

  • Create a new Triton instance

    • Select the most recent CentOS 6 "Container native" image

    • Select a machine package

    • Create a machine

Configure EDB Postgres Plus Advanced Server

  • Verify port and file paths in sysconfig/ppas-9.4 & enterprisedb_user/.bash_profile

  • Add pg_hba entries to pg_hba_conf/pg_hba.conf

  • Configure install_ppas.sh

  • Execute ./install_ppas.sh <<name of target server>>

  • Copy appropriate dynamic .conf file to image as postgresql.memory.conf
