firstName/lastName too culturally restrictive

I wonder if firstName/lastName should simply be changed to 'name'?

first/last is a bit restrictive (middle names etc) and not culturally universal.

w3.org has a great article on this:

"If designing a form or database that will accept names from people with a variety of backgrounds, you should ask yourself whether you really need to have separate fields for given name and family name."
