I was teamed up with my classmates Sarah Gee (@Sarahstylez), Stefan Reeves (@codiestef), and Henry Nguyen (@CallmeHenry) for our very first hackathon at BrainStation. We came up with the idea of creating an app that would present the user with either a fortune or a hilarious roast that would be so savage it would warrant calling the fire department! 🔥🧑🚒 Unfortunately we only had 5 hours and the project faded into oblivion without being completed...
Now that the bootcamp is over, I decided to revive Fortune Roasties. Using Vite + React for the front-end, and a basic mock API for the back-end using Express, I've finished building the full-stack app again from scratch!
