Key Features

Add, Remove, Edit and Scroll through Classes:

Pass/Fail Support:

With many schools implementing Pass/Fail due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, this app now allows you to add a class with a PS grade. This grade will not count towards your overall GPA - thus allowing you to correctly and easily calculate your true GPA.

Persistent Data Storage:

No need to add all your classes every single time. With GPAce, you can add your classes once and they will be stored until the next time you need them.

Light/Dark Mode Support:

Notes

This Application is based off the GPA System at UNC-Chapel Hill. The values in Course.swift can be adapted to represent the instiution you wish to calculate for. Here is a snippet of the code that determines this:

        switch grade {
        case "A":
            self.gradeNum = 4.0
        case "A-":
            self.gradeNum = 3.7
        case "B+":
            self.gradeNum = 3.3
        case "B":
            self.gradeNum = 3.0
        case "B-":
            self.gradeNum = 2.7
        case "C+":
            self.gradeNum = 2.3
        case "C":
            self.gradeNum = 2.0
        case "C-":
            self.gradeNum = 2.0
        case "D+":
            self.gradeNum = 1.7
        case "D":
            self.gradeNum = 1.0
        case "F":
            self.gradeNum = 0
        case "PS":
            self.gradeNum = -1
        default:
            print("Some other character")

        }
    }
