How to run the app after cloning?

After getting authorization code, the app doesn't do anything. How do we login and get the app to work. What steps do we take? An explanation would be greatly appreciated!

This project demonstrates how to establish a basic communication mechanism with Alexa. In this example you can send text to ask Alexa questions. And get the answer from the Alexa backed. Then this program will play Alexa voice through multimedia. I have buttons that build many examples. You can try a voice that should get Alexa to respond. For example: what's the Steve Jobs?

Awesome! That sounds really cool. I want to especially try out the text to ask Alexa questions. However, currently I only see this screen.
How do I leave this screen and try out examples of text to ask Alexa questions. I tried clicking on the buttons but not sure how to exactly use buttons to try sending text to Alexa. So how do I use the application to send text to Alexa?
