This is a ChatApp that i designed and built as a course requirement during my program at Fanshawe College.
These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes. See deployment for notes on how to deploy the project on a live system.
You need to have the following installed on your system
Node.js
You will need Node.js installed for the content to be displayed, follow the install steps below:
Install through the command line (required):
$ npm install
Node.js Packages:
$ npm i -s express
$ npm i -s mysql
Once everything is installed, in the terminal window within the project, run this code:
npm start

- Node.js - Framework
- Sass - CSS compiler
- Express - Handlebars
