Designed and built a boogle game with Java and Android Studio. Persisted users’ historical game statistics and game settings in Android Internal Storage. Implemented layouts that could gracefully respond to different screen sizes and orientations.

Built a web app with Java for users to run lawnmower simulation and monitor its progress. Designed and implemented RESTful APIs with Java Spring Boot framework. Developed a search algorithm to improve lawn cutting efficiency by 80%. Designed an interactive and responsive UIs with React.js framework.

Built a web app with Python Flask framework, which allowed users to store, manage and share their movie watching history. Persisted user data in Postgres database and implemented CRUD (create, read, update and delete) RESTful APIs. Provided a third-party authentication & authorization service for users to login or register via their Google or Facebook Account.

Created a bookshelf app that allows people to select and categorize books they have read, are currently reading, or want to read. The project emphasizes using React to build the application and provides an API server and client library that people will use to persist information as they interact with the application.

Built a highly responsive and interactive NYC restaurant map UI featuring Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) design pattern, Knockout JavaScript framework and asynchronized request techniques. Users can highlight restaurants, view live business information loaded from Foursquare and Google Map APIs, as well as perform incremental search against restaurant listings.
