Description

This Google Chrome Extension adds a "Copy Slug" option to the right-click context menu, allowing users to easily copy the slug (the last part) of a URL from any link.

Installation

Follow these steps to install the extension in Google Chrome:

Step 1: Download the Extension

  1. Navigate to the GitHub repository.
  2. Click on the Code button and then select Download ZIP.
  3. Extract the ZIP file to a folder on your computer.

Step 2: Load the Extension into Chrome

  1. Open Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions/.
  2. Enable Developer mode by toggling the switch in the top right corner.
  3. Click on Load unpacked and select the folder where you extracted the extension files.
  4. The extension should now appear in your list of extensions and is ready to use.

How to Use the Extension

  • Right-click on any link to see the "Copy Slug" option in the right-click context menu.
  • Click "Copy Slug" to copy the last part of the URL to your clipboard.

Updating the Extension

To update the extension to the latest version, you will need to download the new version from GitHub, extract it, and load the updated extension folder in chrome://extensions/ by clicking on the Reload button next to the extension.
