Diccionario Multimedia INDESOR is web application tha functions as a collaborative dictionary. It includes the translation of words in Chilean Sign Language and Spanish to enable learning and/or enhance the knowledge of both languages. Each word entry consists of a video with the sign, the word written in Spanish and its written definition.
A basic principle of this application is to collaborate in a way that users both provide and receive information with the goal of growing their collective knowledge.
Users are able to sign up as deaf or hearing. A new user starts with a given number of points. With this points the user can view words and upload material to the dictionary. A user can gain points by answering challenges correctly and if the material they uploaded is accepted into the platform.
