This is a command line program to perform a simple recording and summarizing of numeric values.
To start the commandline, either build it through cmd or through any IDE
- For cmd, cd to the directory /src and run
javac main.java
java main (command)- For IDE (netbeans), right click on project and under properties, you should be able to add arguments to the run option
Help Section Please note that there are only two commands to this program: record & summary Eg: record filename.txt 2 3 This command will record the values 2 and 3 into the database filename.txt that can be read Eg: summary filename.txt This command will display a summary of the database filename.txt
