love-api-ldoc

This is a (not so) simple script to generate LDoc-based documentation from the API tables provided by the LÖVE community.

Requirements

  • Lua 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, or LuaJIT (tested under Lua 5.1 and LuaJIT 2.0.4).
  • love-api: The API tables (provided as Git submodule).
  • LDoc: To process the output of this script.

Running

Install the required software, change directory to the root of this repo, then run ./main.lua (or lua main.lua). You should get a tmp directory holding the temporary *.ldoc files, and a doc directory holding the output HTML.
