In this age of siloed thought people often stick to their tried-and-true, it confirms my beliefs news sources with nary a thought, nor even an inkling of concern, for what the other side may have to say about the same subject. But what if you are not inclined to be just RED (Conservative) or just BLUE (Liberal) in your thoughts and opinions?

One location for you to find news articles about the subjects that matter to you from both the Left and the Right side of the political spectrum. We assembled our news sources and paired them with our best estimate as to an opposite news souorce based on the article, "The Chart, Version 3.0: What, Exactly, Are We Reading?".

How the Site Works

  1. When you first hit the site, enter a news subject and select a news source and hit Search the News . You can optionally provide your age and gender to aid us in demographics information (saved to a database behind the scenes).
  2. The page will load with the two Most Relevant news article about your subject within the past month - one from your selected news source AND **one from the opposing news source (per the chart above)**. We then show you how many people liked teh articles on facebook.
    1. You can click the titles of each article to go to the full story on the News site.
    2. You can choose to review other top articles about your subject from each news source (click the button - flip the card - see the article links).
    3. You can review the chart provided to see where your News Source falls within the political spectrum.
