You should set the following environment variables:

  • ES_HEAP_SIZE=xG where x is half the RAM of the instance, not to exceed 30.5G
  • APP_ID, the Marathon app id
  • MARATHON_URL, e.g. http://user:pass@marathon.local
  • ELASTICSEARCH_CLUSTER_NAME
