About Project:

This is a simle recreation of Google's homepage without the functionality of searching as of Nov 7 2019.

The goal of this project is to demonstrate my learning and understanding of HTML and CSS including:

  1. Create from scratch a simple website layout using html
  2. Two ways of selecting elements in html to decorate in css
  3. How to group elements using tags
  4. How to create a navigation bar and styling it
  5. How to center elements and styling them
  6. How to apply pseudo-classes to elements
  7. How to use Chrome Dev-tools to live edit elements and investigating their style rules
