Usage

To use the Reading Time App, follow these steps:

  1. Clone the repository or download the source code.
  2. Open the index.html file in a web browser.
  3. Enter your text or document in the provided input field.
  4. Click the "Calculate Reading Time" button.
  5. The estimated reading time will be displayed on the screen.

Configuration

The Reading Time App is pre-configured to connect to the REST API at http://localhost:8080/api.readingtime/v1. If your API is hosted on a different URL or port, you can update it in the JavaScript code.

Open the script.js file and modify the following line:

const apiUrl = 'http://localhost:8080//api.readingtime/v1';

Replace http://localhost:8080/api.readingtime/v1 with the appropriate URL and endpoint of your REST API.
