Forked from https://github.com/ageron/handson-ml.
This repository is a collection of jupyter notebooks to teach some of the basics of machine learning. They provide easy access to out-of-the-box code examples, and they are meant to give insights into the most basic machine-learning algorithms.
All of the code examples are taken from or inspired by Ref. [1], a book I can only recommend to study for hands-on examples of machine learning. All code examples of the book are available in the A. Geron's github repository. As this repository is a direct fork of A. Geron's repository, it is made available under the same licensing terms using the Apache License 2.0. Please make sure to follow the respective conditions of this license when distributing or using this repository.

The content of the Jupyter Notebooks can be opened directly by just clicking on them in the list of files above. Or use the slightly more comfortable notebook viewer (which is also faster).
The first step is to download a copy of this repository. This can be done by using the green download button at the top of this page and clicking on "Download ZIP", which will give you a zip file with the contents of this repository. Unpack the zip file to obtain the contents. An alternative – if you want to use the command line – is to clone the repository with the git clone
command:
git clone https://github.com/knutzk/handson-ml.git
The recommended way to set up your python installation is to use Anaconda Navgiator or the Anaconda command-line tools. These are available for all major operating systems.
