I denne analysen prøvar vi å analysere lønsamheit av kjernekraft i Noreg og Europa i mange ulike scenario. Måten vi gjer dette på er å bruka ein kostnadsoptimaliseringsmodell som heiter PyPSA-Eur. Dette er ein modell for det Europeiske energisystemet som blir brukt for studiar om korleis Europa kan nå nullutsleppsmålet innan 2050. Ein litt teknisk men veldig visuell introduksjon til modellen finner du her.
På denne sida finner du resultata av 168 optimaliseringar av modellen, med ulike kombinasjonar av teknologikostnadar, arealbruk, nettforsterkingsgrense og utsleppsgrense. Vi har blant anna kjørt modellen med:
- Fem ulike kostadsnivå på kjernekraft, frå eit optimistisk grunnanslag til halvparten av denne.
- Halvering av maksimalt arealbruk til vindkraft.
- Maksimalt 1% og 3% av brukbart areal tillate for solkraft.
- Kostnadsauke på sol- og vindkraft på 30%.
- Karbongrense på 0%, 5%, 10% og 15% av 1990-nivået.
Vi ser at kjernekraft ikkje blir satsa på i betydeleg grad i nokon av scenarioa med basis-kostad, og i Noreg må kostnaden på kjernekraft halverast før det lønnar seg:
