Sample git repository to play around with during the tutorial.

TODO:

  • Create an account on Github
  • Install git on the local computers, git config
  • Git and version control (local, remote, branch, operations)
  • The ''forking'' model of development
  • Create a fork of ''git-tutorial'' on Github
  • Clone the personal copy into a local computer (remote origin)
  • Add upstream as another remote branch
  • The three trees of Git
  • Create a new file, make changes, etc. (git status)
  • Stage changes (git add)
  • Commit them to the local repository (git commit)
  • Push changes to the personal remote repository
  • Add a new feature branch (git-branch)
  • Make changes, stage, commit them, and push them to personal remote
  • Create pull request on upstream!
  • DONE!
