Polima 🔥

Polima is an android app that seeks to bring about accountability in promises made by politicians during their election campaign.

Problems

  • Campaign promises are cumbersome. There are over 90 political parties, documentation and accountability becomes difficult.
  • Most of the promises are in turn forgotten by the masses because of the number of aspirants involved which makes it difficult to track each politicians promises.
  • There is an increased need for transparency, accountability and open governance in governing.

Requirements

  • JDK 11
  • Android SDK
  • Android API 21
  • Latest Android SDK Tools and build tools.

  • Allow the project to build completely
  • Make sure your JKD level is set to 11
  • Install the project on an android emulator or an android device with minimum android version of Lollipop
  • Create a new account and you are all set
