MyReads Project

MyReads is a web application to manage your Books reading activities.

Requirements

Node and NPM are required and can be downloaded here

Installation

clone the repo: git clone https://github.com/kumarvv/reactnd-myreads.git
navigate to directory: cd reactnd-myreads
install packages: npm install

Run Application

start the server: npm start
web application will be automatically opened in your favorite browser
or manually open the url: http://localhost:3000

Important

The backend API uses a fixed set of cached search results and is limited to a particular set of search terms, which can be found in SEARCH_TERMS.md. That list of terms are the only terms that will work with the backend, so don't be surprised if your searches for Basket Weaving or Bubble Wrap don't come back with any results.
