style/cleanup/etc pass done! a couple outstanding issues for dealing with at some point:
- in items-demographics, plots with words in cantonese/korean/mandorin have broken font issues
- ideally datatable column names would be aligned the same direction as their respective columns, or at least all left-aligned rather than center-aligned, but for some reason this was super tricky to make work and I gave up
