This tool will copy just the changes from a source instance to a target instance using Oracle Commerce Cloud DCU. A check is made first to see if the target instance is missing extensions installed in the source. If extensions are missing then only the deltas are copied prior to the DCU transferAll executing. There is almost to 70% savings in time including the DCU and PLSU transfer processes. This is still a work in process but has saved me quite some time *Web Content data is currently not supported and coming in a later OCC release. (Dec 2018)

18D (18.6) Transfer issue

There is an isssue with the --transferAll so if you are still on 18C Maintenance Pak (18.5.1) then this will still work for you. In conversation with the support team as to what the issue might be.

This installation is tested and working in node version 8.11.1

** There have been a few users who have reported issues with nodegit and getting the following error:

Error: Cannot find module '../build/Debug/nodegit.node'
I can't simulate this issue. If I have time I can look further, but please try version 2.0.1.0 as it uses the os installed version of git (which you need to have installed) so give that a try and let me know

Installation

Change directory to your downloaded occ-instance-migrator folder and install the applicaton globally:

$ npm i -g

Instructions to run

Please follow the installation instructions to set up the global DCU node application.

Create and "cd" to a folder that will be used for the tasks

$ mkdir a_folder
$ cd a_folder

Run oim with the options referenced below.

$ oim [options]
