reminder is a command to show messages at specified time by Tkinter. It can be used as a todo app.
The data are stored in ~/.reminder/
.
$ sudo apt-get install python-tk
$ sudo apt-get install python3-tk
$ sudo pip install setproctitle
$ sudo pip3 install setproctitle
$ sudo make install
$ sudo make uninstall
$ reminder -h
$ reminder --start
$ reminder --stop
$ reminder --after 12s -m "notify...."
$ reminder --when 13h0m0s -m "notify...."
For the values of --when
and --after
,
- Y -> year
- M -> month
- D -> day
- h -> hour
- m -> minute
- s -> second
The value should be constructed in order. And second
is must.
$ reminder --list
$ reminder --history
$ cd test
$ python -m unittest reminder_test
