dcterms:subject rather than disco:concept?

I think we should reuse the property dcterms:subject for topical coverages as stated in the spec.
Definition so far in turtle:
disco:concept a rdf:Property, owl:ObjectProperty;
rdfs:domain [a owl:Class; owl:unionOf (disco:RepresentedVariable disco:Question disco:Variable)];
rdfs:range skos:Concept;
rdfs:isDefinedBy http://rdf-vocabulary.ddialliance.org/discovery.
What do others think?
Note that using dcterms:subject will mean that the range is not necessarily a skos:Concept (even in most cases it may be).
in both Dublin Core and DDI the intent of topical coverage is
dcterms:subject. We have split into keywords and subject (objects within
topical coverage) but those both map to dcterms:subject
