Project for Flatiron School: data entry app for Appledore Bird Banding Station staff to simplify data entry tasks and the creation of daily reports.

AIMS Banding Station Data Entry App

The purpose of this app is to generate the daily reports created by the Appledore Island Migration Station. The app enables the bander to:

• enter the day's list of birds banded
• add an optional write-up describing the day, and
• (eventually) post the report to the website

Installing

To install:

• fork and clone the github repo here: https://github.com/lizbur10/rails-portfolio-project
• type bundle install to install required gems.
• run rake db:migrate and rake db:seed

Usage

To run the app, start up your local server and navigate to the root url.
