Coding Fundamentals

Use this repository to submit your assignments in Coding Fundamentals course.

Student Guide

  1. Go to https://github.com and register a new account. (Go to Step 3 if you have done this already)
  2. Confirm your registration through your email.
  3. Log in to Github with your email and password.
  4. Go to this link - https://github.com/joinsigma/coding-fundmentals and click on the “Fork” button at the top right. Doing this will copy the repository to your account. (Go to Step 6 if you have done this already)
  5. Enable Github issues for mentors to review your code. Go to Settings → General → Enable Issues under Features.
  6. Start submitting the assignments by dragging and dropping them in the folders.

For example, if you’re doing a "Project-1-Portfolio Website", you’ll need to submit your files here - https://github.com/joinsigma/coding-fundmentals/tree/main/Practice-Projects/Project-1-Portfolio-Website

NOTE: When this repository is updated (we update it from time to time with new assignments), do make sure to sync the changes with your copy. To sync, go to your repository, click on “Fetch Upstream” then click on the “Fetch and merge” button.

Mentor Guide

  1. To review as a mentor, you need to go to the repository of a student
  2. Create an issue using the Review by Mentor template.
