DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G Quad SDI

ggnull35 opened this issue ยท 7 comments

Hello All,

10th of June, BMD announced an additional card for DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G which supplies 4x3G SDI input. Link: https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/press/release/20150610-01

Does bmdtools supports live raw AV 4K 60fps capture over DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G ?

Thank you,

If you have the cpu/pci bandwidth sure.

Thanks for the fast reply: ๐Ÿ‘

ASUS X99-A Intel X99 Soket 2011V3
64GB CL14 DDR4 2400 Mhz RAM
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5960X CPU @ 3.00GHz

Probably will be fine (I hope so :)

One more question: Is libbmd up-to-date for direct 4k 60fps reading from avconv ?

should work fine, in few weeks libbmd will be updated throughly with lots
of additional features (assuming nothing eats my free time), but for normal
capture just works.

OK, good news. Any clue for update details ? Like color space switch ?

My plan with libbmd is to provide thin libclang generated wrappers and then
expose colorspace, ancillary data and few other features bmdcapture
provides now.

Sounds perfect. You really do great work ๐Ÿ‘

Does BMD tools work with Python code ?
I have a processed video which has to be streamed out through HDMI/SDI out. Is there a way to do that ?
