About The Project

This is an example eCommerce store using full stack MERN and TypeScript. Built out here from scratch to be used by myself or anyone interested in spinning up custom eCommerce stores without the need of something like squarespace or shopify. A educational exercise for myself.

Getting Started

To get a local copy up and running follow these simple steps.

Prerequisites

This is an example of how to list things you need to use the software and how to install them.

  • npm
    npm install npm@latest -g

Installation

  1. Clone the repo
    git clone https://github.com/luke-pritch/proshop.git
  2. Install NPM packages in both the back end and front end
    cd backend && npm install
    cd ../frontend && npm install
