Here is a simple concepts of how memory management unit converts logical address to physical address.
Example -
If you input 8196 as logical address. Then 8196 will be converted into binary number. First 4 Left Side bit will use as index string for page table. The indexing page table value will be added with that binary number. And this new number is used as physical address.
