Project History
Web Project Mechanics was originally developed by Mark Hazleton in 2001 as a project to learn new technologies and create websites. It was initially developed as an ASP site and over the years has been migrated from Java Server Pages (JSP) to the .Net Framework 4.8.
Throughout the years, Web Project Mechanics has been used to manage several websites, including Frogsfolly.com, DallasInformationCenter.com, and JMShawminerals.com. Hazleton's project has not only helped him gain new skills but has also been instrumental in helping others with their websites.
The code for Web Project Mechanics has been hosted on various platforms over the years, including CodePlex and Azure DevOps. In 2008, it was migrated to GitHub where it remains to this day.
