Pokemon Vue-er

A Vue.js based Pokemon app that allows you to vue (sic) the details of a given Pokemon.

Introduction

This is a project that uses Vue.js to call the pokeapi.co API and display a small amount of information about a given Pokemon. I wrote this while reading some tutorials about Vue.js, so it's far from perfect.

There are a couple of useful packages being used here:

• axios is used to make API calls
• vue-gh-pages is used to deploy to GitHub pages
• bulma.io is being used for styling

A version of this app is deployed to Surge here...

Build Setup

# install dependencies
npm install

# serve with hot reload at localhost:8080
npm run dev

# build for production with minification
npm run build

# build for production and view the bundle analyzer report
npm run build --report

# build and deploy to surge
npm run deploy

Deploying to Surge

The current deploment script will attempt to deploy to pokemonvue-er.surge.sh. You will want to change this. You'll find the following in package.json, where you can change the domain:

"deploy": "npm run build && surge -p dist --domain pokemonvue-er.surge.sh"
