unsplashipy is based on unsplash-wallpaper v1.2 and has added features for configuration and auto installtion to autostart. it comes with a nice gui and is very easy to use.
- download the current release and run unsplashipy.exe for configurtion.
- Notice if you move unsplashipy.exe run the startup installation again.
- run python3 -m pip install -r requirements.txt
- run sudo apt-get install python3-pil python3-pil.imagetk
- add "python3 gui.pyw -bg" to cron using crontab -e
- for advanced configuration edit the config.json in the app folder (linux) or in \AppData\Local\unsplashipy (Windows)
- Run unsplashipy.exe -bg for the background task
- packed with pyInstaller -F
