ShadowNET is an interface/environment for group pen-testing in real time. It can be used by groups of white-hats for real-time pentesting in one single server, it can also be used to host a server for zombie devices and perform attacks.
More can be seen in the Under development Documentation
This is the ShadowNET's client repository, you can see the server's repository here: https://github.com/matjsilva/shadownet-server
If you are really willing to download ShadowNET's client, then you are in the right place!
To install this version of the client, you just need to do this:
> git clone https://github.com/matjsilva/shadownet.git
> cd shadownet
> npm i
Then, after installing all the dependencies, you can start learning about the framework by running this command:
> node sdnt help
- Connect many devices in a single-channel network.
- Deploy and connect to a backdoor installed on any machine.
Minor Updates:
- [FIX] Fix server forced shutdown while trying to run "netrunners -o" while logged in
- [FIX] Improved server performance
- [NEW] Listen => Listen to global events on the ShadowNET.
- [NEW] Yell => Sends a global event to all the ShadowNET.
Major Updates:
- [NEW] Probe => control a infected computer remotely.
- Deploy a backdoor on any machine that can run as a background process forever.
- Control remotely the backdoor via socket requests at any time with an extremely fast response time.
About the update:
With probes you can access any machine remotely through the ShadowNET server. You can perform console commands and by using .bat files you can control many features on the system.
The probes will be always connected to the ShadowNET, no matter what happens. When the server shutdown, all the probes will keep trying to reconnect automatically, when they reconnect they reestablish their functions to receive any guest and perform actions.
There is also two new features/commands: listen and yell (admin only), the first seeks for global events broadcasted to all the netrunners connected to the ShadowNET, while the second one sends a global event to all the netrunners.
- ShadowNET's Zombie: Zombie network for infected devices.
- And many more...
I was in need of a multi-socket network server but i wasn't going to buy one and configure it from scratch. So i made a multi-socket network server from scratch.
ShadowNET is not only a server, it's also a whole framework based on custom commands and a unique structure for connection, and it will grow even more. Stay tuned.
